The #1 song birthday meme

For those who are playing along, you can find the song that was #1 on your birthday, either in the U.S. or in the U.K., at #1 Songs On This Date.

On my birthday, May 31, 1969, the same song was at #1 in both the U.S. and the U.K. Since it would feel like cheating to post only one video, here, my friends, from the famous, unannounced, celebrated rooftop session that surprised the lunchtime crowds on Saville Row, are two renditions of "Get Back." The rooftop session would turn out to be the last live performance The Beatles ever gave.

By the end of the rooftop concert, a large crowd had gathered on the street, in surrounding buildings' windows, and on adjoining rooftops. As some residents and businesses complained about the noise, and the police arrived to shut them down, they reprised "Get Back."
