Arkansas GOP Senate Candidate Apologizes For Calling Schumer "That Jew"

Arkansas state Sen. Kim Hendren, who is currently the only announced Republican candidate for U.S. Senator against Democratic incumbent Blanche Lincoln in 2010, has apologized for referring to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) as "that Jew" at a county Republican meeting last week.

"I don't use a teleprompter and occasionally I put my foot in my mouth."

Ah yes, be sure to get your "Obama BAD!" talking point into your non-apology.

He must not have used a teleprompter when non-apologizing, either, as he went on to say that he admires Jesus, who was a Jew. He's not anti-Semitic--some of his best Saviors are Jewish!

(Oh, he also likes that Joe Lieberman fella.)

Do you have comments disabled at lj? Maybe it only shows up if you have lj comments disabled, because the only way to comment is at dw?
