I remember when the West Wing was in its first year, and a friend said to me that it was a complete fantasy. I agreed with her; I said it was like a liberal paradise which could never exist. She said "No, no, that's something that could happen. I mean, chances are not good, but it could happen. The U.S. President having a Nobel Prize?? AHAHAHAHA!"
