OH MY GOD (a.k.a. svmadelyn is evil)

[livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn pointed this out, so DON'T BLAME ME:

Amazon.com has gone insane for the next four days. They're having a Black Friday sale, but it runs past Black Friday, ending on November 29th.

I just bought Season 3 of Mad Men for $10.

That is not a typo.

They're putting all kinds of fannish media on sale for ridiculous prices, but some of the deals only last for specific time periods, so you'll want to check the Black Friday Store page, where you can watch the clock count down on each offer.

And don't miss the Lightning Deals Page, where I found this:

Friday, November 26
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. PST
Casino Royale (Two-Disc Widescreen Edition)
$1.99

Again, not a typo. Two-Disc widescreen Daniel Craig Bond reboot FOR TWO DOLLARS. But only if you buy it between 8:30 and 12:30, PST, tomorrow, Friday, November 26.

An extra $10 this month made a long-desired purchase. HAPPY THANKSGIVING \o/

Oh my gosh, yes! I totally thought I'd thanked you already. Thank you so much; I'm so amazed that you did that!

You're welcome! What do you want for Chanukah? (I hope that's the correct spelling; everybody seems to spell it differently.)

Everyone spells it differently because there is no correct spelling, or even officially agreed-upon spelling in English. It's a transliteration from a language that uses a different alphabet, in which it can be spelled with vowels ( חֲנֻכָּה ) or without vowels ( חנוכה ). The best we can do is phonetic approximation.

You *really* don't have to buy me things. I am so appreciative, but it's not necessary.
