THE FUTURE!

I am leaving tomorrow for a five-day trip to visit friends downstate for the holiday weekend and my birthday.

I have to pack more power cords than underpants.

THE FUTURE!

Happy Birthday!

(Is there anything more fun than dramatically saying "THE FUTURE!"? I think not.)

THE FUTURE!

I submit for your approval, the phrase "In accordance with prophecy," which can be added to almost any other statement for hilarity and dramatic effect.

"I'm off to get some tacos, in accordance with prophecy."

Heh, YANA. I seem to recall a little digression in the memoirs of BBC correspondent John Simpson bemoaning the profileration of dongles that accumulated in his baggage, and how sometimes they seemed to be missing at the critical moments or turn up when entirely unwanted.
