Battlestar and Carnivale news

The Battlestar Galactica miniseries’ Tuesday finale improved on its Monday debut, scoring the channel’s best ratings for 2003, and the third-best ratings in the channel’s history. (If you missed it (as I did), SciFi is repeating all four hours Sunday afternoon.) Chances are extremely good, therefore, that it will become a regular series.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Carnivale has been picked up for a 13-episode second season. Production is set to begin in spring for airing late next year.
