That final montage was not the originally scripted ending to this episode. After Cuddy tells House about offering Stacy a job, House agrees, and the next scene we get is House back in the bar, drinking and high on Vicodin, picking a fight. He finally gets a big mean guy to beat the hell out of him, and as the other patrons try to pull the guy off House, he shouts "No! Let him! He's not *finished*!" while bruised and bleeding. I guess they wanted to go for the more wussy ending. Bummer. If you want to read the original ending, right-click and download the pdf.
And, speaking as a New Jersey native, it ain't no way no how two hours from Princeton to Short Hills - it's 45 miles. I remember having the same thought with the guy from the clinic who was from Maplewood, and House says "you drove 70 miles to come to this clinic" - uh... again, 45 miles. Maplewood and Short Hills are right next to one another, so even if it *were* 70 miles, it's STILL not two hours in a car. Heck, don't the writers know about Mapquest?
"My wife is going to kill me. We're having guests. She *cooked*." Then, why are you there, Wilson? Hm? I believe the answer to that is OTP. Yes, I've looked it up - it's definitely OTP.
Stacy? Fascinating character. Cameron? Step aside, woman, you are DULL. Foreman? My new bestest friend. ("You made milk come out of my nose.") Oh, and "Houseboys"? *dead*
