No credit cards for fannish PayPal, please

Since this has happened four times so far in my first batch of zines, I figured I'd just post my response to the lj. Who knows; other people might find it useful too.

I cannot accept a credit card payment through PayPal. Credit card payments cost the recipient fees, and are only available through PayPal business accounts, which *also* cost money.

You can transfer money to a PayPal user who has a free account one of two ways.

1) You have money in your PayPal account that someone has sent to you or that you've deposited, and you transfer it to me.

2) You have verified your checking account with PayPal which allows you to automatically transfer funds from that checking account to another PayPal member.

If neither of these options are available to you through your PayPal account, you can mail me a check.
