1) You don't know shit about what any actor might think or feel or do in any given situation, even if you've seen or read lots and lots of interviews with said actor. No, seriously, you don't. No. Stop it.
2) Actors are not on the writing staff, even if they've written an episode or two; they're a bit busy with the fourteen-hour days they spend ACTING. Mostly they have no idea what's going to happen next on the show, and if they do, they're likely bound not to reveal anything. STOP ASKING THEM STUPID FUCKING QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT. No, seriously, stop. No. Stop it.
3) "OMG Whoozum is such a good actor! I saw an interview and Whoozum was *totally the opposite* of the character!" is a logical fallacy. B doesn't necessarily follow from A at all - plenty of middling and bad actors can play someone entirely unlike them -- *especially* if they are playing a "bad guy". Obviously they're not going to sit down with Jay Leno and *proceed to act like an asshole*. The argument is based on an incorrect assumption. No, seriously, it is. No. Stop it.

I was up at 6 am to tutor a GRE student, who it turns out thought that the American colonies were populated by brave adventurers, and had no idea that it was actually either criminals or those who were too religiously anal even for the English. Sigh.
