Oh, Good Luck, by far.

My dad belongs to a golf etc. country club. This puts my mother into the subset of "wives of men who belong to the golf etc. country club". They don't attend many functions, but they occasionally socialize with a few couples they've met and liked. A few days ago, a woman relatively unknown to my mom asked her to lunch and my mom, in full "what am I going to do, say 'no'?" mode, accepted.

MM = My Mother
UCCL = Unfamiliar Country Club Lady

UCCL: So, do you and your husband go to the movies?
MM: Oh yeah, we're huge movie fans. We go all the time.
UCCL: Oh, *good*! My husband and I never know what to see. I'd love some suggestions!
MM: Well, we recently saw Capote; that was very good.
UCCL: Is that about the mafia?
MM: *pause* No - it's about Truman Capote.
UCCL: *blank stare*
MM: He wrote In Cold Blood...?
UCCL: *continues blank stare*
MM: He wrote Breakfast at Tiffany's...?
UCCL: Oh, he wrote movies?
MM: *pause* Yes.
UCCL: *scribbles down "Caponee" in datebook* What else did you see?
MM: Last week we saw Good Night, and Good Luck.
UCCL: Which one did you like better?
MM: *pause* *mental equivalent of headdesk* *politely changes subject*
