30 frames per second - 5 seconds, 11 frames - so, 161 frames of footage. That's how much footage I can put into this particular lyric phrase.

I remember when 5-seconds-plus would engender thoughts like "I'm going to have to sacrifice some of this scene, dammit." Now it engenders thoughts like "how many different ways can I cut up these seven clips to fit into that space and still keep my movement flowing in the proper direction without stalling either the entire story of the vid or the meaning of these particular ten words *within* the overarcing narrative?"

Ah, progress.

*hums "time keeps on slippin' slippin' slippin'... into the FUTURE..."*

Paul Campbell - Billy from BSG - made a sitcom pilot last season called "Nobody's Watching". It was put together by a combo of guys from "Scrubs" and "Family Guy", and should be funnier than it is, but Paul Campbell is freaking HILARIOUS. It's a shame they didn't let Billy be more of a comic relief character, because this kid is funny. I hope he find some work!
