Cleaning Out the Karma Closet
Dec. 20th, 2006 07:48 pmI've been on the tiniest of a Karmic upswing these past three months, after two years of being tied to Karma's whipping post. But I still don't feel that I have a balanced budget, because (just like most of us, I think), I can flake on promises, or I write something down on the back of an envelope that I wind up throwing away thanks to the stupids, or I say "yeah, sure!" on the phone and whatever it was that I agreed to do promptly leaves my brain.
So.
Did I promise you something? If so, please email me at tzikeh@thechicagoloop.net with whatever it was that I promised you in the subject line. No matter how long ago it was that I promised, I encourage you to write me. Feel free to berate me in the body of the message.
CONVERSELY:
Did I lend you something? If so, can you email me and remind me what it is that you still have? Seriously, I've probably forgotten, but I will want it back at some point. (Next year, I'm going to keep a much better list of those things in my Treo so I always know where my stuff is.)
Thanks you, guys. Many of you have been better to me than I deserve this year, and it's been moving to realize that I do have some very strong friendships.
But I still want my shit back.
