Eddie Izzard back on tour in the U.S. (location and dates, plus links to buy tix).
NY Times article / interview.
The tour is called "Stripped," and I can has tickets! \o/
Since my New Year's Resolution restricts my indulgence purchases, I have given up several of the concerts I had planned on attending for M'sieu L'Izzard. I am still going to see Pink Martini, but I've given up Mulvey, Foucault, Iron and Wine, and Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
*cough* I added Jonathan Coulton *cough*.
I've got Pink Martini tomorrow (my March allowance), and JoCo and Izzard in May, so I'm skipping an April indulgence.
So far, other than continuing to order out for dinner, I think I'm doing pretty well! The next plan is to stop the take-out. I'm aiming for a slow run-up to June, so that by then I'm not doing ordering out for meals more than once a week. It will be a steep learning curve. But I haven't bought DVDs or books or magazines or other impulse purchases, and I've ridden public trans to and from the Uni rather than caving for taxis (except once when I was freezing and exhausted).
I have definitely noticed a slow rise in the amount of money I have left over at the end of each month. Yay!
