YAY MOVIES! It looks like it's going to be a great movie-going summer.
Iron Man on May 2 (official site with trailers, photos, etc.). W00T Robert Downey Jr. and the trailers look AWESOME.
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian on May 16 (official site with trailers, photos, etc.). I have hopes that this one will learn a bit from the last one, like the Harry Potter movies, and will be a bit less "here are moving pictures of the book" and a bit more "here is a cinematic interpretation of the book".
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on May 22 (official site yadda). Indiana Jones. INDIANA JONES. Indiana. Jones.
The Incredible Hulk on June 13 (official site yadda). Even if I weren't a comics fan, it's Edward Norton and Tim Roth. Come on.
Get Smart on June 20 (official site yadda). I... don't mock me. I may hate it but... don't mock me!
WALL-E on June 27 (official site yadda). Pixar has never, ever made a movie I didn't like.
The Dark Knight on July 18 (official site yadda). Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham. Clown Travel Agency. Harvey Dent's Official Campaign Site.
Mamma Mia! on July 18 (official site yadda). Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard, Amanda Seyfriend, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters. On a Greek island. Singing ABBA songs at one another.
The X-Files: I Want to Believe on July 25 (official site has no trailer yet, but it has photos, though not the OMG one thecomfychair just posted.).
And those are just the big ones. There are lots of smaller films coming out this summer that I'm interested in as well -- perhaps another post. :D
