tzikeh: (awesome)

Last night was not awesome why it was not awesome, which you can skip. Really. )

So, since I was a big baby last night, and at least I got my 1TB internal drive installed and running, and I get to go see Eddie Izzard live tonight, I feel I must be a sharer of awesome today!

1) Not Always Right. There are lots of sites on the net where people who work with the public can share tales of woe, but this one is particularly hilarious. Some favorites to get you started: invisible computer!, planning ahead, and best troubleshooting report ever.

2) Mulder's Big Adventure. A guy and a gal watched all nine seasons of The X Files between last Christmas and last month, and then decided to blog about each episode, one at a time. So far they've only got three up, so it's very very easy at the moment to get current. (They have an rss feed.) It's perfect for the XF geek who wants to be a bit nostalgic and a bit silly while waiting for the movie. It's not quite TWOP, not quite MST3K, but it's all good. Here's the pilot.

3) This is for vidders, dvd geeks, those curious about why there are stripes in things which should be solid colors when they watch DVDs, and anyone who likes to read technical stuff about technical stuff. I think it's absolutely fascinating reading. Then again, I fit all those descriptions. The Chroma Upsampling Error and The 4:2:0 Interlaced Chroma Problem. It sounds like a bedtime story Doctor Who would read you, doesn't it?!

Soon I will do an entire post devoted to Nerdfighters, the epitome of awesome. In the meantime, enjoy *this* serving of awesome!
