Right from the start I knew it was a lie, as did anyone who looked at the letter "B" and saw that it was neat, shallow, and *backwards* (hello, using a mirror much?). Even though she's told the truth (and yes, this girl is ill and needs help, which I hope she gets), there are already Freeper rants that the Pittsburgh Police Department forced her to say she made it up (because there are a lot of black people on in the Pittsburgh Police force, see) or, more broadly, that those who cannot face the facts of why McCain/Palin has failed can now point to this as an excuse. *This* incident will lead people to see McCain/Palin as a race-baiting, fear-mongering campaign, so they'll have lost voters.
Ah. Right. Here's the example we needed. Until now it had all been so... *murky* and *sly*.
Still, I'll never think of poor Ashley Todd without hearing the word "chiffarobe". At least this time the attacker, along with the attack, is a lie. Though I don't know that that will keep those "good Americans" from finding a substitute or ten to go after.
Brrrr.
