Dear BBC Sherlock fanfiction writers:

Oh, so many things to say, but I'll keep it to two, because endless nitpicking is annoying. Very *brief* nitpicking, however, is tolerable.

1) Sherlock Holmes, while originally ignorant of the workings of the solar system (and yes, that's book canon), is not *entirely* ignorant of space or space travel; cf. "Houston, we have a mistake!" (Arguably that could mean that he knows the phrase only through pop culture, but which is more likely: he is aware of the massive disaster that was Apollo 13, or he digs pop culture?) So please, I beg you, enough with the "What do you mean, people have walked on the Moon?" crap.

2) John Watson's eyes are not brown. They are blue. Blue, blue blue. Unmistakably. The lighting on the show is dark, but his eyes are not.

Pics or they're not blue? Okay....

( Oh, it's such hardship to make screen caps of Martin Freeman, but I'll manage, somehow.... )
