You Hawaii Five-O fans are going to be dancing in the streets: Scott Caan is up for Best Supporting Actor. (Though, gotta say, his competition is stiff: Chris Colfer, "Glee"; Chris Noth, "The Good Wife"; Eric Stonestreet, "Modern Family"; David Strathairn, "Temple Grandin." I have a feeling it's going to Strathairn.)
TV looks to be quite the horse race in most categories, but the movie nominations are making me go o.O
Either I've been way more out of touch with pop culture than I previously thought (oh, grad school, why so grad schooly?), or the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association were all drunk or high when they nominated for movies. I haven't even *heard* of some of these. And a large number of them got nearly uniformly crap reviews.
WTF.
Still, it's always a drunken good time, so, I'll be watching.
