Possibly the most awesome thing I have seen a network do

FOX made many Fringe fans nervous and angry when they announced that the show will move to Friday nights at 9Eastern/8Central when it returns in January.

This is known as the "death slot" in tv scheduling.

Many television critics and websites have been posting that FOX is doing this to deliberately kill off Fringe.

FOX's marketing department made this video in response (Warning: if you are not caught up on Fringe, you will get brief glimpses of spoilers):
