Thank fuck that the show has been renewed for a third season, and thank double-fuck that we get a Christmas special that will air on Christmas Day.

You are my sworn enemy, Julian Fellowes.

ETA: Apparently, my post is being construed as hating the finale. Nothing could be further from the truth. I guess a lot of people thought it sucked; I absolutely did not. Ah well—if this means that I'm a poor judge of whether any given episode of Downton Abbey is good, than so be it.
