I had it on tape in 1987, and then... possibly my father taped over it with a football game or something.

Anyway, I am looking for a copy of a tv movie called "The Return of Sherlock Holmes". It stared Michael Pennington and Margaret Colin. Colin plays Jane Watson, great-granddaughter of John Watson, who rescues Sherlock Holmes from cryogenesis (to which Dr. Watson had committed him 80 years previously when he was infected with a then-deadly, now-curable disease). Hilarity and a vague sense of romance ensues.

Anyone got it? Anyone know anyone who's got it?

Holy cats, I saw that.

I have, for some peculiar reason, a vivid memory of Holmes's first encounter with an "adult" bookstore.

Sorry, don't own it, just marvelling at the concept.

Oh my god, if you ever find a copy please please let me know.

I like the bit when he deduces a bunch of facts about the person who wrote a note based on the weight of the ink, etc., and is of course totally wrong because it's a marker or some such thing.

I have the visual of his first time on a *plane*, myself. And him discovering London Bridge at Lake Havasu.

And discovering that Jane's husband left her. "Ah, another woman." "No, another man." ""

{g} I still say "Great, and if we had bacon we could have bacon and eggs if we had eggs," which I learned from that movie.

I also liked that Watson's assistant was reading a murder mystery by J.B. Fletcher. ;)

Just adding to the collection of "what people remember from that movie", "The ugliest man in Christendom looks elegant in a pair of tails."

Used to have it, think I taped over it. Sorry.
