1) Singin' in the Rain
2) To Kill a Mockingbird
3) Howards End
4) Citizen Kane
5) Wings of Desire
(5 runners-up, because fuck rules: Lawrence of Arabia, Mulholland Drive, The Princess Bride, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, Amadeus)
5 Guilty Pleasures (in no particular order)
For purposes of clarification, I will define a "guilty pleasure" as a movie which is qualitatively poor that I love anyway.
1) Xanadu
2) Annie
3) Flash Gordon ("FLASH! AAAAAAHHHAAAHH")
4) Bulworth
5) Skidoo -- if you have not seen Skidoo, you have not seen the worst movie ever made. You may *think* you've seen the worst movie ever made, but you haven't. (ETA: There are some clips from Skidoo at a Jackie Gleason fansite, if you dare....)
