tjonesy was supposed to be here already today, but apparently Winter decided it wasn't done with the East Coast and dumped a whole bunch of BSG hate weather on the East Coast. tjonesy's flight to Chicago from Newark was supposed to get in to O'Hare today at 10:30. The next flight she can get to Chicago leaves on Monday morning.
We're looking for round-trip tickets, but since she's actually not taking a flight back (she and husband are taking a train from Chicago to the West Coast to see the country), we can set the return date as any date at all. I know the trick of making sure the return flight is after next Saturday, because the prices are generally lower if you stay over a Saturday night, so that's already part of the search. I'm checking Expedia and Travelocity for anything that we can find today or tomorrow to get to Chicago from Newark that isn't a) $900 for coach (fucking price gouging) or b) a fourteen-hour flight with three lay-overs.
