It's so depressing to think about the damage the US continue to inflict worldwide, and the face of it isn't even competent profiteering (or anything with rationality really that you could work with), but this bumbling idiocy now. Somehow stupidity makes everything worse. In flights of fancy I sometimes wish your horrid government could restrict itself to ruining just your own country (where people voted for it after all, or well, almost voted for it anyway, and could get rid of it in theory), but there's the whole superpower thing and of course all large environmental damage always has impact worldwide anyway. *sigh*
