Just because
Jul. 2nd, 2003 11:16 amI just love this one so much...

In the event of a nuclear explosion, drive around it.
Again, the full thread is here.
Note to those who don't understand what stealing bandwidth is - I have not linked to Internet Infidels' host to display this graphic; that would be stealing bandwidth. Rather, I grabbed the graphic from ready.gov, uploaded it to my own server at thechicagoloop.net, and am linking to the source there. (Since ready.gov has made the icons publically available, I did not need to ask permission.) That's how you do it properly. Otherwise, every time anyone accessed my lj, or their friends list with me on it, or their friendsfriends list with me on it, Internet Infidels would take the hit. End of aside.

Thanks for clearing that up
Date: 2003-07-02 10:55 am (UTC)I had also been wondering vaguely how people get pictures in their ljs.
So in one short paragraph, you have cleared up two of life's mysteries.
Thanks and see you at Toronto Trek.

Date: 2003-07-02 12:28 pm (UTC)If I drove backwards around a nuclear explosion, would I be giving Internet Infidels their bandwidth back? It would be kind of like Superman flying around the Earth backwards to turn back time.
