OK, so I know it sounds whiny and ungrateful (because yes, Europe is awesome), but I really, really wish I was back in Chicago for the election. Really really really.

Surprise! Except double surprise, because technically I'm not there any more (I moved to the Netherlands for a while for work). I'll be back for a few weeks over Christmas though, and there are always fun, communal things to do around the area during that time. Are you in the 'burbs or the city itself?
