The purpose is to identify an unknown weak acid or base with the following materials:

Chemical pH indicators, pH paper, pH meters, 0.10 M KOH, 0.15 M NH3, 0.15 M HCl, 0.15 M acetic acid.

We have used the pKa, pKb, titration, calibration curves, buffers, and neutralizations in the past few weeks.
