Anyone in Mumbai, or anyone with friends and relations in Mumbai, I hope all are safe.

There is a Tweet Grid for those who wish to follow it live: http://tweetgrid.com/grid?l=0&q1=Mumbai

Otherwise, regular updates at nytimes.com and all other news sites, I'm sure.

What can anyone say.

That picture on CNN is crazed. The head of counter-terrorism in Mumbai was one of the ones killed, and I'd really like to find the story on that.

Yeah - I'm sure this will dominate the news cycle for a few days. We'll learn much more about all this.

What's so upsetting is the photos of the *children* wielding AK-47s:

I'm a little alarmed; my boss was supposed to leave this afternoon to attend a wedding there with his wife, followed by business.

Having spent the last year immersed in Indian culture for the last year thanks to work, the definition of "what's a child" there is not the same as it might be elsewhere. Not sayin' it's right, but child labor's been a huge problem in India and most of the Asia.
