This is one of my favorite little comedy pieces ever. It's been making the rounds on the internet since the late 80s - whenever I remember it, I go look it up. I thought I'd put a link here for you all to read and enjoy.

Excerpt:

I want to create an omelet that expresses the meaninglessness of existence, and instead they taste like cheese. I look at them on the plate, but they do not look back. I tried eating them with the lights off. It did not help. Malraux suggested paprika.
