1) Saul/Bill fans must be about as happy as anyone can be, right now! Hugging and crying and omg so sad and "I know, it's not the same as Zak, but..." *sob* Really, you can't get much more tragic than that scene. Their drinking scene was hilarious, though - "Grampa was a power sander." Awesome.

1a) Bill and Laura *hold hands* while they walk around the ship. OMG.

2) Something is *very much important* about the fact that when Sam went all vegetable last week, Liam kicked, and then this week when Liam, er, kicked, Sam came back online.

3) WTF Galen?! You are the Chief! You got your Chiefy-ness back, you're all Yay Galactica woohoo and then you're all "fuck it; let's run away" voting? Buh? I fear very much that the only reason he voted that way was that the storyline wouldn't work without a tied vote. Grrr. Though the "Could we, you know, vote... now, and talk about the baby later..." was damn funny.

4) Ellen. WTF. I assumed the Ellen we saw last week was the fully-restored, director's-cut Ellen--the Ellen with all of her memories back--all of her *self* back. But she gets back to Galactica and she goes from "come here, John, my child, for I love you so" to "Oh, yeah, I made you, but you fucked Saul and even though I was dead and babies and love blah blah I fucked Cavil too so blah blah BLAH BLAH ANYONE HAVE A DRINK O HAI LAURA I SEE YOU SCOWLING AT BILL BECAUSE HE HAS A DRINK AND BECAUSE SAUL NAMED HIS BABY AFTER YOUR BOYFRIEND!"

Well, okay, what I just wrote didn't make sense. Though it made as much sense as what it was trying to explain. And as much as I don't like this idea of "how is babby formed=TWU WUV", I will give the show credit for harkening back to the fact that the Cylons professed this belief during the Plant!Sharon and Helo storyline on YellowFilter!Caprica in S1.

4a) NICE visual callback to our first shot of Ellen Tigh in Season 1.

5) CHIP!SIX IS BACK!!! Oh, Chip!Six, I've missed you. And you showed up just in time. Baltar was truly feeling the love, feeding the hungry, tending the infirm, and making allusions to food magically reproducing itself -- but you're having none of THAT, are you. "And GUNS!! BIGGER GUNS!!"

6) Loved loved loved seeing two Vipers and a Heavy Raider doing the flyout for Boomer's Raptor. Oh - speaking of the 8s --

7) In the "we all have to go together" voting scene, I'm going to assume that 8 was simply "Unnamed 8", because Boomer was in the brig, and Athena is SO not teaming up with the Cylons to desert. So, it's awesome to see the blending on Galactica - both humans and cylons, and Human and Cylon.

7a) I'm pretty sure that's where we're heading. We have Tigh's "Pure Cylons can't make it alone! Pure humans can't make it alone!", along with the Living Goo of Cylonicity running through Galactica's veins, and the various Cylon models taking part in daily Galactica activities (omg the wall of remembrance hi Boomer 1.0), etc. HYBRIDS ARE SUPERIOR!

8) Why couldn't Ellen fill the other Final... Three in on whatever it was Sam couldn't get to tell them before he went under? Why weren't Tory and Tyrol and Tigh (heh) immediately inundating her with questions to fill in the rest of the story??

9) Previews for next week I will leave alone since many consider that spoilery.

10) Roslin and Adama walk around holding hands in public eeeee

There cannot only be two more episodes and then the three-part finale. Their just can't be that few episodes of Battlestar Galactica left to air.

The word is that the final episode of the three-episode finale is actually three hours long in and of itself. I... withhold my happiness for when I get some kind of confirmation. But that would be awesome - that the final episode of the final three-parter would be the entire block of Friday programming on SciFi that week.

HOMG.

That made NO SENSE.

I actually kind of loved Ellen here; after the benevolent and wronged earth mother of last week, it's nice to be reminded that she can also be petty and vindictive. And drunk, if possible. (:

I totally failed to spot the hand-holding! But I was all Saul/Bill this week, with a surprising dose of Ellen-Saul-Caprica OT3.

HEE! I admit I'm not a Saul/Bill kinda gal, even from day one (which is really really odd for me, I must admit). But damn if last night didn't put me in that camp for a day. And yes - weird OT3 vibe as well.

The hand-holding is the last scene, they're wandering the halls and they see a Six looking at the Wall of Remembrance, and Laura tugs Bill's hand to follow her over to look at whatever it was the Six was looking at. Then we see Bill touch the original Boomer photo, bringing everything around in the wonderful endless cycles and reinforcing the complete integration of the two races.
