This past week's QI
Feb. 23rd, 2009 12:04 pmHere's the bit the QI fans are talking about, for those who can't get their hands on the show (or don't watch the show--and if you don't, why on Earth not?). The lead up is that Stephen said early on that Rob Brydon and Ben Miller bore a striking resemblance to each other, and this became a running joke. Apparently, they've been mistaken for one another quite a lot; Ben Miller included a paragraph about it in a column he wrote for The Guardian. If you can't see the embedded video, you can watch it at YouTube here, but it's not nearly as clean a picture.
Even besides this bit, the entire XL episode of this past week is just brilliant. Everyone was top of their game. And Ben Millers knows a *lot* about quantum physics, which is a huge interest of mine, so it was like they made the whole episode just for me.
Gotta make an animated icon: "QI: you never know what you'll learn."

Date: 2009-02-23 10:49 pm (UTC)There's lots and lots and lots of QI on YouTube -- full episodes just chopped up into 10 minute chunks. Wander about. We're nearing the end of Series F; but I think each series is like 12 episodes or something. http://www.epguides.com/QI has listings.
