Eddie Izzard (twitter account link) gigged last night in a small NYC theater, trying some new material. Kevin Spacey was there--the two of them are jointly promoting a "free tickets to theatre for people under 25" project in England (link to promotion video). Spacey only just joined Twitter this month (twitter account link). During the gig, Spacey got up on stage with Izzard, who is well-known as a technology nut; he often checks Wikipedia and Twitter from his iPhone during stage performances, and tweeted that he was currently on stage with Eddie Izzard (YouTube link).

Guys, the world is a strange, wonderful place. We live in the future, where famous people do pointless things with advanced technology for our enjoyment.

ETA: A twitter named relbelle was at the show, and Spacey stepped on her foot (I assume right as the lights were going down, from the time stamp). She twittered to her friends "Kevin Spacey just stepped on my foot". After the show, she twittered to him: "@KevinSpacey "you stepped on my foot, man". He responded "@relbelle the hazzards (sic) of a tiny theater. Sorry".

I'm going to see Eddie for the third time in Decemeber! I once got his autograph by forming a human chain with my friends and refusing to let a van pass until they let us down to the stage door. I LUFF HIM!!

I see him live every single opportunity I can (I once went to the same show three days in a row (don't judge me!). He's the best. We got to chat with him after a gig in Chicago in a kind of stage-door alleyway Q&A session. That man is SHORT.
