I take no credit for the subject line; it's a quote from one of the commenters on this fun post by a guy who posed as a tea-bagger and went to a rally, just to see what would happen there.

Not exceptionally erudite or insightful, but a good read nonetheless. (And he was at the one with the "What you talkin about Willis?" sign.)

I'm from Bloomington, Indiana....30 miles away.

And yes, This is what Southern Indiana is like: Flag-waving gun-toting uneducated inbred Real Americans. This is also why I've lived in Chicago for 20 years.

ETA I'm not sure the author is responsible for the "Willis" sign...it seems to me he pointed it out as something racist. His own sign (held up by a friend for picture purposes) read "I <3 Tea Bagging", and in one shot he poses before a Colonial "Don't Tread On Me" flag.
