Dominic Monaghan, one of the actors from Lord of the Rings, co-starred in a British tv series called Hetty Winthropp Investigates.

We are running a mini-marathon of this show on Chicago's PBS station, and I'm creating a small graphic for our homepage.

So I'm sitting here, color-correcting and cropping a picture of one of the hobbits.

I have an almost overwhelming desire to write "GAY PANTS!" on it, but that would probably not go over well.

I can't tell one hobbit from another, but I did used to watch Hetty Wainthropp when it first aired on the BBC. As such, Megolas' response to the inappropriate elf challenge? (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/cesper/Elves.html#49) made me very happy. :)

I think PBS picked it back up to feature on Mystery! after the success of the LotR films. Not that I think Dom is a *huge* draw, but suddenly he's *somebody* American audiences will recognize.
