Though why they have a photo of the cast from the new Star Trek movie as the photo for the article is anybody's guess.

No, that was his co-star Ian McKellen. Considering McKellen already had one, it's about time Stewart got the same recognition.

No - he had an O.B.E., which is a different, and lesser, honor.

Heh, it was funny to see the nerdgasms that happened when McKellen and Stewart were in a production of "Waiting for Godot" recently. Not only did they do a heck of a job in the roles, but you had all the LOTR fans, the TNG fans, *and* the X-Men fans a-squee over their joint appearance.

The fact that they even want to use a picture from Star Trek in an article about Stewart being knighted FOR HIS STAGE WORK makes me punchy-smacky.
