I honestly don't get the hate for Kate. I really don't. We didn't meet her until *after* Fowler and Mentor got their hooks into her. She visited Neal in prison *every single week for four years*. People who don't love someone don't do that.

Re: hating guns. As he says in "Hard Sell" -- just because he doesn't like guns doesn't mean he doesn't know how to use them. And given enough motivation, most of us could be moved to do something we'd otherwise not do.

Oh, I realize that my hatred of Kate is almost entirely irrational at this point. (I mean, there is the theory that she was stringing Neal around during season one, of her own free will and not just because of Fowler. That's certainly a possibility.) But your point is a good one; she did visit for four years, and we don't know exactly how she'd have acted had she not been under duress. So yes, very good point there.

I hope you don't think I was jumping down your throat. It's just a bugaboo of mine, because it's so prevalent in the fandom, and it just doesn't make any *sense*. I get that the first season had other characters reacting in such a way that we were made to be suspicious of her, but we've never seen anything from her point of view, or how she was with Neal, or anything, really.

I suppose we'll see. I mean, yes, she could be cruel and manipulative, but I'm withholding judgment until we *see* something concrete.

Um, as beautiful as Neal is in both those pics (let us pause for a moment of love for the gently bowed head), WHAT IS PETER WEARING? He's cazh!! And Diana's in practical shoes and cazh clothes too! So maybe they're pretending to be a couple? OMG.

The LOOK on Neal's face as Diana is cuffing him. I'm not sure I can adequately express what that looks like. But whatever it is, it's heartbreaking.
