Dearest Gentle LJ Writers...
Sep. 13th, 2003 01:57 pmI have a request for all y'all, which I'd wanted to write about last week, and I think even the week before that, but the topic has become more and more important as premiere month approacheth. (Please note: I'm not demanding anyone do x or y in their own lj, or trying to dictate how people post; I'm merely making a request that would help me and, I imagine, other folks too. Nobody has to do it if they don't want to.)
Please, if it's not too much trouble, do not assume that everyone who frequents your livejournal is in the same fandom(s) which currently fascinates you. By this, I mean please don't post an entry which consists of:
"You guys must read this story because it is the best explanation of the finale to Season 2 *ever*."
That's great! Season 2 of what?
Or "X-Fangirl finished her vid to Total Eclipse of the Heart! You've gotta see it!"
Okay, yeah, I'd be avoiding this anyway, but still.
Or "Huge HUGE spoilers for episode 3 here!"
...you get the picture.
I know that many folks have ljs which are single-fandom-centric and the bulk of their discussions are about that fandom, but I (and I imagine others) can't keep track of which fandom every single person on my friends list is in at any given moment. Even just putting the fannish abbreviation of the show in the subject line would help.
Thanks.

Date: 2003-09-13 02:06 pm (UTC)It's OK, I just sit back and let the happy fannish vibes wash over me, regardless of sparkly CLex having hobbit sex with Avon.

Date: 2003-09-13 04:39 pm (UTC)I mean just because I thought asking about Tom's aliases and listing the ones that I already knew would give it away but maybe not. I mean there must be some people out there that aren't watching MI-5.
