ETA! Totally forgot to put Season 5 of Friday Night Lights on the schedule, because it doesn't start up til October 27th, and it will only air on DirecTV's 101 Network. NBC has not yet announced when they'll premiere this final season (they just finished airing S4 in August, which DirecTV customers had already seen back in '09).

LOL! Just yesterday I was wondering when this post was going to show up.

How else am I supposed to know what to watch!? I rely on you! *g*

LOL!!!

Well, I got it in just under the wire; some of these premiere tomorrow. :D

I've not included a few shows I'm iffy on; I may make posts about them in a few weeks. One example is The Big C. On the plus side: Laura Linney can do no wrong, and Gabourey Sidibe is in it! On the minus side: a wacky comedy/drama about a woman with a diagnosis of terminal cancer.

What.

So, a few have been left off of the post for now.

Is it shallow of me to want to watch Undercovers because they used Gypsy Kings in the promos?

My Sunday is the same as yours, all jammed up. Also, thanks for the email. :)

Not shallow at all! At least, no more shallow than me wanting to see it because Boris Kodjoe makes me all eeeeeee.

(Not to mention the "hey a show pitched to the American mainstream starring two black people where absolutely nothing is made of that fact in the show" factor.)

You're welcome for the email. :D

oh, - Dexter -

Did you see the that season premiere episode title is "My Bad?"

omg...your table is...so pretty *stares* did you use something to make that or did you hand code it?

I hand-code everything old-school. Used to do it for a living; can't quite seem to get with the "all of this is already out there, just go get it" method. But feel free to abscond with the code, and tweak it, if you want it for something!

I'm giving Hawaii 5-O a try, same with Undercovers. I've caught BBT off and on over the years, but I plan to deliberately watch this year. I still haven't caught up on season 2 of Fringe. I was so worried Fox was going to cancel it that I ended up not watching it at all. I've got to fix up my schedule again. I've been slacking.

I've been pondering how to organize my data, is the main thing. I love the format. And then it's attractive on top of that.

Thank you for permission to crib! I'll take you up on that.

Season 2 of Fringe kicks twenty kinds of ass. and I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you watch all of S2 before embarking upon S3, because otherwise you will be completely lost.

Oh, good, that's great to hear. And I definitely will watch season 2 first. I figure I'll catch up with it over the winter hiatus, and then catch up with season 3. My entertainments are so bountiful these days. :D

had you finished S1?

From: [identity profile] aerynvala.livejournal.com
I did, and I loved it. But I *really* loved it and Fox has abused that love so much in the past... :D

For the first time in several seasons, I'm hardly interested in any new shows. The only thing on your grid I'll be watching is Hawaii Five-O. If Undercovers wasn't an Abrams show, I'd be SO there.

I'm not worried about Undercovers being Abrams, because it's not a mythology show, and it's not a dark show. I think if you go into it as a lark, there's no danger. Have you seen the trailers?

I loved Felicity, which wasn't a mythology or dark show, either, and he still managed to totally bork it. I wish I could tolerate his brand of chain yanking, but I can't. And, as good as it looks, I don't trust him not to screw up Undercovers, too.

I watch much, much more television than you do. I think your grid is very pretty though. I used to keep a grid on my personal website, but I haven't updated it in so long that it still lists Battlestar Galactica, Scrubs, Pushing Daisies, that Terminator tv show, Kyle XY, and any number of long-cancelled cartoons.

I could post a grid, but it would go on for a long, long while.

Actually, that would make a moderately decent post. I think I'll do that.

Ooh! I look forward to your grid!

I used to watch WAY more television. Grad school eats available hours.

Grid's up in my latest post.

By the way, I talk about fall tv A LOT every May during the upfronts:

Heh, I need a grid detailing when shows/new episodes arrive on Hulu due to my wacky schedule (and lack of tv/cable).
