Date: 2011-05-02 04:20 am (UTC)(I'm surprised FOX News's scroll doesn't say "Osama bin Laden (D) killed in Pakistan.")
Nah... Instead they'll be blaring non-stop commentary from people accusing Pres. Obama of rigging this announcement's timing to cover up something liberals are trying to push through Congress, or outright accusations he didn't really order any such commando raid, since officially we haven't had a good idea of where bin Laden has been located for a while....
Or the crazies who are insisting the long form birth cert. needs further verification will demand proof of death, i.e., "Pics/severed head on a pike or it didn't happen!!!".
That way Fox can claim they're not reporting such things as true... they're just reporting about people who say those things. ::cynical sigh::

Date: 2011-05-02 06:04 am (UTC)Although I'm surprised Fox did that; they've been using "Usama" for most of the reporting, I thought.
Right before I posted, I noticed that it's the local station, not the national Fox news channel.
