tzikehBecause apparently, this is National Frustrate tzikeh week, my computer flat-out died last night. So, you folks I was chatting with, sorry I completely disappeared. shrift was kind enough to lend me her OMG SO ADORABLE OLD-TIMEY laptop, but it didn't feel like keeping a battery charge for very long (as they're wont to do) and I was falling asleep anyhow at that point.
Should have my computer back in about 30 mins after they replace the hard drive and cable. They've finally realized what I've been telling them for the past three weeks or so, that it's HARDWARE, not software, that's causing the *system-wide fucked-uppedness*. Another Top Tip from Tzikeh: always back up your data daily. I love Time Machine liek woah.
Brief boob update: biopsy was yesterday. Short version: I was supposed to have my biopsy at 2:30, but they were backed up and couldn't see me til after 4. It takes 24 hours to get results back from the lab, so if you're seen after about 3pm, you don't hear the next day, you hear two days later -- and yep, you guessed it, no results are reported on the weekends. So instead of getting my results today, short of some kind of lab work miracle, I get to wait til Monday.
More on that when I have my computer back and can type from home.
