Font recognition movie title alphabet game. Can you name the movie from the single letter taken from the title card?

I solved this one yesterday (took me all day and several friends), and I'm on to the second puzzle.

If you want hints for any of the letters, drop me a note.

Damn you!

I got a dozen easy, and I'm sure the rest'll come. But A and V are making me insane because I can picture the posters in my head, but can't read the words! Hint me, baby.

Yeah, A and V you will know.

A... President Hottie.

V... Victim. Also Velocity.

Tragically, my browser refuses to load all the images, which has me stalled. That, and Y is driving me NUTS.

Gahhhhhhh. You taunt happy fun ball!

Oh, btw, after only five months of coffee drinking, I am down to no sugar, skim milk. Now, to slowly reduce the amount of milk --

Yeah, I got A right after I hit the "Post Comment" button!

But V? Stands for "vexed." I remain stalled at 13.

Sorry to say, you'll kick yourself over Y. Though, I say that only because I remember it from the video game version.

Oh, this is going to drive me nuts.

Alias? No Y. X-Men? No Y. Harry Potter? A Y, but not that Y. BTVS -- not on my flist, and also not that Y. Gone With The Wind? No Y. Moonlighting? No Y, no videogame, though I would have given anything to see that. ("Holding the joystick down and double-hitting the "quip" button activates SUPERBANTER. Every door slam achieved during SUPERBANTER gives you 1000 points.")

Y is for "You", as in "You remind me of a man..."

The computer game is older than that. It was one of those where you typed your commands/directions. Plus, was obviously done by fans because it referenced Star Trek.

ps. the Y isn't the first letter.

The game actually made the title a pun using my name, which freaked me out because my name is unusual.

I am well and truly stuck on J, U, X and Y. You are a wonderful and terrible person.

I'm stuck on C, E, G, K and O.

C... is a cartoon

E... think baby 'lij

G... I'll give you the clue my friend gave me, "don't get them wet"

K... Hrmm. Not sure how to give a clue, as I've never actually seen the movie. But it's related to another movie on the page.

O... is out of this world.

J - This adaptation, in my opinion, has gone to the dogs.

U - the shape of the letter is a big hint.

X - look at the color, look at the placement.

Y - the "y" is often misplaced in the spelling of this title.

From: [identity profile] yahtzee63.livejournal.com
I got Y! And C, too.

Now, any thoughts about L and H? I know I know H, and it is driving me NUTS.

From: [identity profile] tzikeh.livejournal.com
C - Rankin and Bass never meant for this to happen.

E - look behind the letter... that's not going down, it's going *up*.

G - ___ ___, big city

K - This is the original, not the remake, or the coming re-remake.

O - look carefully behind the letter. What do you see?

Hints:

L: The polar opposite of this week's most talked-about movie.

H: H is for Hottie. H is also at the 'head' of the word.

D'oh! I should have gotten "y" from the fannish hint above. Bother! :-D I'm still horribly stuck on U and X, though. I keep looking at U, going, "Independence D..no."
