Virginia outlaws all gay rights, in order to (according to one Senator) "drive homosexuals in the state of Virginia into a legal limbo, so that they'll either have to become heterosexual or leave, and to break the power of homosexuals in state business and politics."

Anyway, I've been a card-carrying ACLU member for more years than I want to admit to having been an adult, actually. *g* Me and the ol' ACLU, we're like this. ::holds up crossed fingers::
