and the stupid end up FUCKING UP MY DAY.

We have this pledge database so that people can make pledges to WTTW on the web. It holds show photos and descriptions, gifts photos and prices, etc.

We had this long list in an excel spreadsheet of gifts which are no longer being offered for the coming pledge. We need all the straggling gifts removed from the server, so that we could the plug in all the new gifts.

Our back-end guys gave the list to a new hire, figuring hey, she can just remove these items from the server database -- easy job.

The new hire *took it upon herself* to assume that, if all the pledge gifts for a particular program were removed, we were no longer broadcasting that show during pledge. She then removed the entire show from the database.

She did this ... several times.

Pledge? Starts TOMORROW.
