Yup, I've been saying it for a couple of years now, that this is reminding me more and more of 1972, when the Nixon administration got reelected even as Woodward and Bernstein were closing in on them. The difference is that Nixon got reelected by a landslide, and clearly this election is going to be muuuuch closer. Hopefully the pendulum will swing far enough, soon enough, that we'll be spared four more years of...
