Okay first of all holy cow, they are so, so married, and I am falling for them more each week. The slash! And the angst! And the slash! And the angst! And the puppy-dog eyes and the blue, blue eyes. And the two of them playing the Irregulars with the drawing ("Water is October, right?" "Obviously.")

I would say it's mostly fair to assume that House has known Wilson for less than nine years, since otherwise he may have heard about the brother. I mean, it's possible that he knew him before then, but they probably weren't close.

I'm also glad we finally lost a patient, that they got to the diagnosis too late. I wonder if there will be fallout in Foreman's storyline - if he hadn't been obstreperous and recalcitrant at the beginning, they might have caught it earlier. Not likely, I guess, but still.

And oh my goodness does WIlson's backstory lend itself to hurt/comfort ... not to *mention* next week's set-up ... wow.

This really was a great episode. Loved, loved, loved the ending -- forgiveness. Awww. But I don't see the slash between House and Wilson, sadly.

"playing the Irregulars with the drawing ("Water is October, right?" "Obviously.")"

This one missed me by a mile. What were they talking about?

House and Wilson already knew her name, what happened, etc, because they'd removed the pin and gotten the info about the car accident. House was just fucking around with the Irregulars by looking at her drawings and "deducing" everything that had happened, and Wilson played along and played it up.

I didn't think Wilson had all the information yet, just that he figured out way early on that House knew something that he wasn't getting from the drawings. He recognized House playing with the Irregulars, and played along. That look Wilson throws the rest once House shows them the pin is so "Guys, please. He may be Holmes, but he's not John Edwards."

Your llama icon is singing to me. It no longer says "Llama, llama, llama," but "House, House, House, House--Wilson! Wilson!" It could be I need medication.

And *speaking* of next week's set-up: my first thought was "hmm, i wonder if there'll be one of those Starsky and Hutch moments where...naah, they won't be that nice to me..." (

::sigh::

Mommy said I wasn't supposed to take candy from strangers!

On the other hand, you're not that strange a stranger and mommy isn't here!

Yes, please!

Heeeee! I *loved* that. "My goodness! Was she all right?" And then the disdainful look Wilson shot the ducklings when the clue finally dropped.

They make such an excellent comedic double act. "Get me some thin mints." Hee!

Let's try this again. Wrong icon, mis-spoke...I need some beer or something.

That woman was dead before she even made it to the hospital: she was already symptomatic. Only one non-vaccinated person has ever survived rabies once symptoms appeared, and that was late last year (and they had to induce a coma to do it). Several other people who were vaccinated but developed rabies anyway have also survived, but only about 5 of them. So it's not so much that they got the diagnosis late as that even if they'd psychically determined it upon her crossing the door of the ER, she would've died in any case.

It's not all that satisfying to me to have them pre-defeated.

They did lose one of the babies, though, remember.

It was an awesome episode; given the hype at the Super Bowl, I'm hoping there were a lot of new eyeballs. This was certainly an episode worth starting on (if you were unfortunate enough not to have started yet).

I thought House playing with the grad students was the best. "Treat everyone as if they had Korsikov's Syndrome" indeed.

I'd been using the term "ducklings" from Television Without Pity, but I really think I like Irregulars better, especially after his miracle diagnosis based on the Polo icon.

Oh, is *that* where duckling comes from. That makes sense. I mean, I understand the metaphor, but I like the Holmes stuff better. ;)
