Jimmy Doohan died today. He was 85.

We need a symbol for "Fandom", so we can put it on a flag and fly it at half-mast on the internet on days like today.

sniff. I love the idea of a fandom flag. it should have stars on it (for space sci-fi) and something for fantasy (but not unicorns. please no unicorns). on a dark blue background.

Actually a long tailed star would work for both-evoking both Sci-fi as well as the sword aspect of fantasy--though I'd go with a dark green background myself.
