And on that day I will rejoice. It's a miracle! Aspect Ratio will be trying to soothe the tension, providing whatever Bitrate might need and Bitrate will be constantly yelling "you did this to me!" It brings a tear to my eye.

Out with the old, in with the new... I am already gearing up for what is sure to be the hot, angsty pairing of 2006 -- HD-DVD/Blu-Ray. I can tell just from the promos -- it's an affair doomed from the start! Not since VHS/Beta and DVD/DivX has there been such a slashy Romeo & Juliet type pairing.

We may not have seen a single thing yet, but that's no reason why the fandom shouldn't get going. So I have started 3 LJ comms, 2 lists and a web site. I'm sure there will be awesome new fic by tonight.

Yeah, but DVD/DivX never really went anywhere. I mean, it was okay, but they just sort of dropped it pretty quickly. No chemistry.

And remember when DivX had all those behavior problems?? A short-fused temper ready to go off at a moments notice - sometimes it'll play -- sometimes it won't and ALL of those issues about not being as good as DVD and meanwhile you can just see that all of that jealousy and animosity is really just a front and something is growing there and FINALLY DivX starts coming more into its own and showing signs of maturity and stability and then we get to the end and they have learned to co-exist and even beyond that to... well, I don't want to spoil you.
