"Kandy F. staying over in London after Worldcon in Glasgow and then being stuck in Heathrow for days because of the British Airlines strikes and just getting home today to find out from Linda T. and I that the hotel can't find our reservation and couldn't check with them herself because she doesn't have a cellphone for us to have notified her previously of same panickitude."
(Solution: Linda and I made back-up rez at hotel.)
But, still: NO hotel rez equals "PANIC!" whee.
