From E!Online:
Natalie Portman takes care of business in V Is for Vendetta. The Closer actress plays a guerrilla warrior in an alternate future where Germany wins WWII and Great Britain becomes a totalitarian state. The action-heavy pic is the brainchild of The Matrix's helmers, the Wachowski brothers, and begins production this spring.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but Alan Moore created and wrote V is for Vendetta, not the Wachowskis, right? Did I just make up reading that book?

Fuckers.

I made some X Files vids back in ... 1995? I think? 1995 or 1996. I remember sitting on the floor in front of the tv and vcrs for days with piles and piles of off-air tapes and cans and cans of Diet Coke. (I distinctly remember misplacing the tape with the clip of Skinner I needed and being rather put out.)

I'm currently remastering all my old vcr vids with the pro DVDs for the soon-to-be-announced Loop DVD. But it has been ten years since I made this vid (OMG ten years) and I can't remember which episodes I got ... well, almost any of the clips from. I recognize the stuff from Duane Barry, Ascension, Three, and One Breath, and I recognize Pusher. That's it. And I've got clips like "It's Mr. X! He's talking!" "It's Skinner! In a white shirt! In his office!"

Technology and source quality available to the vidder has changed astronomically in the past ten years (ten years!!!), but one thing about vidding remains the same, and I imagine always shall.
