Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but Alan Moore created and wrote V is for Vendetta, not the Wachowskis, right? Did I just make up reading that book?
Fuckers.

Natalie Portman takes care of business in V Is for Vendetta. The Closer actress plays a guerrilla warrior in an alternate future where Germany wins WWII and Great Britain becomes a totalitarian state. The action-heavy pic is the brainchild of The Matrix's helmers, the Wachowski brothers, and begins production this spring.

Date: 2005-01-06 10:38 pm (UTC)1. V for Vendetta is Alan Moore and Dave Lloyd. Either of whom could sneeze a better movie than the Wachowskis. V is the Wachowskis' brain-child in the same universe in which Walt Disney decided to animate Lolita.
2. It's an alternate universe based on the U.S. and Russia bombing the fuck out of each other and their allies. Britain survives because the government decides, before the Cold War goes M.A.D., to move all nuclear weapons off British soil.
But I suppose that's too complicated for Keanu.
What do you want to bet Valerie will not even be mentioned?
